Thank you to all participants of the 2026 NVTB meeting! We are happy so many of you came again, and to have heard so many interesting stories from you.
We can announce that the meeting next year will take place on 17 and 18 june 2027, again at Dopersduin, Schoorl. Save the date!
We wish to congratulate Griffin Kutler Dodd for winning our paper price with his paper ” Immune responses may make HIV-1 therapeutic interfering particles less effective”.
We also wish to congratulate Sultan Ahmed Nazir for winning the presentation price with his presentation titled on the Spatial evolution of viruses.
And we’re happy to be able to give Marco Saltini his paper price, which he won last year but was unable to collect at the time
The minutes of the 2026 general assembly can be found here, and the financial report can be found here. The term of treasurer Erika Tsingos ended, and she was re-elected to the post for another three years by the general meeting.
I have decided to include two group photos this year, one more scenic, and one where you’re more likely to actually be able to see your own face.
Finally, we would like to thank the NWO for providing financial support again, which helped us to fund this meeting. We hope to see you all again next year!
